Hello Friends,
This Hawthorn moon we are looking into Gemini, Hawthorn, and Citrine. This is the time of year where I finally have enough sunlight and my energy returns. I happily buzz through my garden smelling the flowers as they offer their displays. My bee-like nature is blooming in response.

Gemini is the twins. I painted many twins this month. Twins are not opposites but rather 2 of a kind. The energy this month is more mushrooming than spiraling. The two working together. I depicted the twins often with fire and air symbols. The Air is Gemini and the Fire is Hawthorn.

Hawthorn was the first to bloom in my garden. The red tipped flower bunches looked somehow poetic against the sharp spikes that protrude from branches and trunks. The dark green leaves blend in our fir forest. Hawthorn is fertility. The time when there is enough to make anything happen. Use the energy this moon brings to birth your passions and maintain them with the endless supply of light.

Choosing a stone this month was difficult as there were so many inspirations. My college roommate gifted me with stones and their meaning for a birthday. I sat down in a quiet spot and meditated on several choices.

I learned that Crystals have 4 bonds: 1. Covalent (shared electrons…like diamonds) 2. Ionic (Salt) 3. Metallic (gold, aluminum, copper) 4. Molecular (dry ice, rock candy). Somehow learning that gold was crystal expanded my mind. Perhaps it was this gold fever that lead to Citrine.

Citrine is both Fire and Air, which fit in like a puzzle piece to the picture I was creating in my mind. It’s a high vibrational stone that welcomes Abundance. Citrine has been called: Light Maker, Light at the end of the Tunnel, Vitamin C for the Soul, and Stone of the Mind. It’s a hexagonal Crystal that promotes Joy and inspires one to Choose Happiness. What better Stone is there to represent this period where the sun is gaining energy every day. Citrine, this yellow crystal is Sunlight and Possibility!!!

No matter where you are you can always carry SUN MAGIC in Citrine, and with this endless energy…What will you Grow?
You are ENERGY.
You are FERTILITY.
You are SUNSHINE.

AIR MAGIC IS QUIETUDE
