Stones and Moons and Cycles
Hello Friends,
This year I am going to switch it up a bit. I love learning about the trees and over the last few years can now identify a few, which makes me feel like a guru :). This year I am going multi-layered. I will be talking about a new stone that I feel represents the vibrational energies of all I have learned in each turning. I will be designing Tarot Cards throughout the year in harmony with the 30 cards I create each moon. With each suit I hope to tell a story of how to achieve the four qualities that ancient Egyptians strived for: Kindness, Quietude, Compassion, and Honor. While keeping true messages about the spiritual times we experience in a yearly cycle. Hopefully it will be silly and spark smiles. I also will be relying on the zodiac to help me understand the energy of the year.
Meet OPHIUCHUS The 13 Zodiac that has been confirmed by Nasa and cleverly used by me who rearrange dates to fit the 13 Moons and 13 Trees.
I hope you enjoy this spiral of discovery I am about to dance into.
Blessings, Dian
Diamonds: I can’t think about them without hearing Marlyn Monroe’s voice belting out what to look for in a long term relationship. Since most diamonds are more than a billion years old…they are a safe bet. I wonder if she knew the myth in which women who wear diamonds in the bedroom receive the greatest of Venus’s pleasures.
Diamonds are graded into 5 different categories. The 2 I found interesting were D and 11B. D are the strongest and rarest Diamonds because they are absolutely colorless and pure carbon. All Diamonds are carbon, being only a single element makes a strong crystal formation. Flaws and mixing happens in nature which is magic and how colored and impure diamonds form….not as strong perhaps but more interesting for sure. 11B Diamonds can absorb light and glow in darkness. Although Diamonds reflect, it seems in some cases there is a delayed response.
Diamonds come in every color! Green Diamonds are sacred to mothers and health. Red Diamonds are rare and known to increase passions. Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn, Libra and Aquarius all can wear diamonds. All signs feel the special, loved, valuable magic that Diamonds are known for. If you cut the stone with 6 sides it is extra lucky. Diamonds belong to Venus and therefore are extra potent for Taurus and Libra. In nature diamonds form in 2 pyramid shapes that connect at the bottom, called octahedron. A myth that the first diamond was found inside an African Shaman’s pouch sparks imagination, a diamond in the rough and full of forgotten power.
I chose Diamonds to start our year because they bring about new beginnings and have endless energies. They have been called “rocks of god”,“miracle stones”, and the Greeks called diamonds “adamas”.
During this dark time, Light seems more precious and magical since we have less of it. This is the time of resting and I love nothing more than watching stars, Christmas lights, and sparkles. Dancing lights seems to reach deep inside and spark joy. Diamonds make lights dance and sparkle and bend and break into rainbows. I love this.
It is during this Birch moon that we are able to find extra time, because although the days are short we seem to grow extra days. This time of darkness is where imagination and planning create what will be seen in the light. This time where our days are getting a little longer is the time that light sparks imagination and rest turns into plans. Plans into future.
While you sit in the darkness and plan and imagine you sparkle. Unlike a diamond you radiate. You are light. Light Dancing creating cool clear light sparkles like ice in the sunlight or diamond. Magical.

Capricorns are the Sea Goat: stubborn and grounded and strong, yet filled with psychedelic imaginations that are the foundations of greatness. Embrace the sea goat energies and the richness that is built by applying the lessons of HONOR from Pentacles/Earth/Diamond/Birch magic. Capricorn is new so I drew new moons. 1-new opportunity 2-balance 3-plan 4-greedy control 5-financial hardship 6-gifts exchanged 7-success is a journey 8-hard work/dedication 9-stability 10-shared success Youth: opportunity Knight:easy is boring Queen: maintenance =beauty/success King: Provider/Honor
